Since I have been forgetting to do my Thursday movie reviews the past few weeks I’m going to catch up on them in the next three days. Today I’ll will be reviewing The Devil Wears Prada.
The Devil Wears Prada is from 2006. This movie is about Andy(Anne Hathaway), who gets the “a million girls would kill for that job”, Miranda Priestly’s(Meryl Streep) second assistant. Miranda is the chief of Runway magazine, a.k.a the devil. Andy transforms from bad in the fashion world, into hot in awesome clothes. It’s not just about how she transforms, there is definitely drama in The Devil Wears Prada.
My opinion on The Devil Wears Prada is that it is very good, I love it and watch it almost once every week. One reason i really like this movie is because I would like to work in the fashion industry some day. I would recommend this movie to anyone that like drama and fashion.

Friday afternoon Meredith was babysitting and she brought the kids over to swim along with Meryl, Lucas, and their cousin. They swam ’till around five thirty. Later that night after dinner, I spent the night at Meryl’s because my parents were going out.
While Meredith and Lucas went to the dragon boat races, Meryl and I stayed home. During the day we didn’t do much, the only exciting thing about the day was making brownies. About six we got in the pool and it felt sooooo warm, it was like bath water. We didn’t get out until nine.
Sunday we had plans to go to the Rockies game, and my parents friend’s mom invited us. In the morning we went to breakfast downtown and afterwards we headed to the stadium. The tickets we had were in club level and we thought we were just siting in the other crappy seats. We really thought we were going to catch a ball because last time we sat in the club level we caught one but………we didn’t.
On the bright side the Rockies won.

On Friday my Mom, her best friend(Erica), and I went shopping for my Mom’s bride’s maids dress for Erica’s wedding. We ended up getting her dress at the second store, but it was in between and Spanish lace one and then the one she ended up getting. When we came back we hung out buy the pool for a while and then Erica went home. Later that night we went to Pei Wei for dinner then saw the new Harry Potter.
Saturday my uncle(Billy), my aunt(Jessica), and my Ah-ma came down. They stayed for a sort of lunch dinner like dunch. At 5 I had to go babysit for our neighbors. I stayed ’till 2:30am! On the bright side though I made 80 dollars. When i came home i went straight to bed and woke up at 11.
Sunday was definitely the hangover spot so we didn’t do much but swim, cook, and hangout with my friends.

On Friday i helped Meredith babysit. She had four kids to watch and i know i would want help to. They all came down to my pool and hung out for a long while and the went back to their house and had quite time watching Wall-e. Once Tim and Abby(the parents) got home we walked back to Meredith’s house. That night she also had to babysit an actual baby(Nace) from 5 to 11 and she asked if i would help her, so i asked and my Mom didn’t mind at all.
In the after noon the next day Meredith and I went to go see I Love You, Beth Cooper(movie review on Thursday). On the way back we got free SLURPEE’s from 7-eleven. After that we didn’t do much but hang out for the rest of the day.
Sunday morning my Dad, Mom and I walked down to Wal-Greens and dropped off my camera so it could be developed. On the way back we also stoped at Starbucks and i got a Caramel Frappuccino with extra caramel. For the rest of the day i hung out with my family and friends!

I’ sorry for not writing in awhile, I’ve been on Summer break. Lately I’ve been babysitting, spending a lot of time with my friends, and getting our house ready to sell. When I say babysitting I mean big money! For three kids and three days from 7:30am to 3:00pm, plus swim lessons and lunch I got 165$. Then last night I got 20$ for helping my friend out with two kids the year 7 and 4. Since I spent a little bit of it already i have 150$ left.
On Monday my friend Jessica spent the night, the next night Kassi, and then i went to Kylie’s house and stayed the night there. Also lately I’ve been walking down to the park and hangin out with my friends, Taylor, Aspen, Hope, and Kathryn.
At the house we’ve had a couple relator’s come over. A few days ago we found the right one and now our house is on the market!!! It’s very exciting! Well there was an update for this week and I’ll be back around this time next week!

Push is a thriller and is full of action. Dakota Fanning plays a Watcher- someone that can see the future- and many others plays roles with different powers. The people with the powers are on a mission to use their abilities to stop the U.S government agency from killing of their kind. As they join together they are completing there final job… to escape the agency forever!
I thought this movie was OK, but definitely not the best movie. I liked the concept, but it was bad acting. I’m not saying it was horrible, I sort of liked it. I would recommend this movie to middle aged kids around my age(12) or anyone that likes science fiction.

Friday was a very cold, wet, and rainy day. Because of that we didn’t do much. In the afternoon we cleaned under the tree in our backyard, and it looks sooooo much better than it did. I wasn’t surprised there was a lot of crap under that stupid pine tree! Like I said before we didn’t do much, it was a lazy day, so we snuggled inside with a fire going.
Saturday was still cold and rainy so my Dad and I went to the Apex so we could do some laps. While we were gone my Mom and Terry finished things up at the house. When my Dad and I got back I hung out with Meryl until it was time to take Terry to the airport. Once we got back my friend Sierra spent the night. Sierra and I traded Littlest Pets and then it was time for dinner. After dinner, we went down the street to babysit, but it wasn’t really like babysitting because they had already put the kids to bed. When they got home I insisted that they didn’t pay us but then Abbie(the mom) shoved the money straight down my pants! I couldn’t believe it.
Sunday Sierra and I walked down to the park for a while, but got bored quick because there was only 2 of us. Later in the afternoon we went to the park again with Meryl, Daniella, and Ethan. We played capture the flag, it was super fun and I think we all enjoyed it. When we got back Sierra went home and Meryl, Daniella, Ethan and I played 500, then I had it go inside for dinner.

I know, I know, I haven’t wrote in a long time, and that’s why I’m back. In the last 4 days we’ve got a lot of stuff done. Friday, my Mom and Terry started breaking up the concrete by the pool, and got it nice and crushed up. At 7 we went to the Rockies game, it was fun but they didn’t win. By the time we got home it was already pretty late, so I went straight to bed. On Saturday morning it was cloudy and wet, but my parents and Terry still laid the concrete by the pool. In the afternoon I went to my friend Morgan’s house. At 6 I went down the street to babysit. After our Sunday breakfast, we started working outside. My Mom had me paint the edges of the windows with this wood protection stuff. I can’t remember what else we did but I know we did something. On Monday it snowed so we couldn’t work outside. My Mom cooked most of the day, and I got stuck doing school work. I guess you could say it was a lazy day. Tuesday was totally different, it was warm and the snow was gone, so my family put the rock by the pool. It looks really nice. While they were outside working, I was inside working on school! When I got done with my work I was relived, I could go hang out with my friends. Later on Meryl, Meredith, and I walked to Starbucks, and then played basketball at the park. Although I had school the past 4 days weren’t that bad, I had fun.
