My Dad:-)

img_02552

My Dad is a pretty cool Dad.  He isn’t like most Dads in the world.  First of all his name is Mike.  He likes to geek out on the computer, surf, snowboard, skateboard, and play video games.  Unfortunately he can’t surf, snowboard, or skateboard right now because his knee is sort of messed up.  My Dad had to have surgery on his knee earlier this year because the cartilage in the knee wasn’t growing right.  A few weeks ago he went to get an MRI done on his knee to see if he needed another surgery done.  He didn’t get to find out if he needed another surgery done because the MRI had to get sent to his doctor.  Yesterday my Dad went to see his doctor and he said that they have to do some injections, and if the cartilage doesn’t start growing back then he’s going to have to have another surgery.:,(  It has really been bumming my Dad out about his knee.  I love my Dad so much and I really hope he doesn’t have to have another surgery!!!!

Twilight Movie Reveiw

As you’ve probably read, I’m a big fan of the book Twilight. Well, when I went to go see the movie I was very disappointed!  They didn’t include a lot of the stuff I wanted to see, and they didn’t do things in order!!!  If you read my blog, ” It’s Coming Out Tomorrow!!!!” you know that I was really excited to see the movie.

The things I didn’t like in the movie was the part when Bella was getting sick in Biology, because they were doing something with blood, so Mike and Edward took her down to the nurses office,…. not in the movie.  In the book Bella and Edward sat in the Cafeteria together,….. not in the movie.  When Bella, Alice, and Jasper were in the hotel Bella left, but it was suppose to be she left at the airport.(Sorry if anyone who is reading this has not read the book or seen the movie.)  Two other parts I didn’t like were, when the Cullen family and Bella were playing baseball and James tried to attack her in the movie, but in the book James didn’t try to attack Bella.  Edward and James fought in the dance studio, not in the book!!!!!!!

It made me really mad.  They could have made it so much better.  I hope if they end up making New Moon, they make it better than Twilight!!!!

CereaL!

Have you ever heard of the song I Like Cereal by Biz Markie?  If you haven’t, it’s a funny song about how he and everyone that he knows likes cereal.  I like to say that, that song is a lot like me!  I get int the morning and I have my bowl of cereal.  Maybe some times I’ll have a bowl of cereal for dessert.  My favorite kind of cereal would probably have to be……… Fruity Pebbles.  When I have a bowl of fruity pebbles in the morning, I’ll most likely be in a good mood that day.  One of the reasons I like Fruity Pebbles is because they are colorful and fruity.  The cereal I probably will not eat is defiantly Raisin Bran!!(Yukkk! EEu!)  My top five favorite cereals are; #1 Fruity Pebbles, #2 Honey Bunches of Oats, #3 Special K, #4 Honey Nut Cheerios, and #5 Trix. I like many other kinds of cereal too, but I don’t have all day to tell you all the kinds of cereal I like.

Thanksgiving Dinner!

As you’ve heard my mom is a fantastic cook!  This year for Thanksgiving she’s going to be cooking dinner.  I can’t wait for the juicy turkey, those melt in your mouth mash potatoes, and the pumpkin and apple pie that makes your mouth water like crazy!

Thanksgiving dinner has to be one of my favorite meals and holidays in the whole world.  One of the other reasons I like Thanksgiving, besides that I like the food, is the fact I get to spend time with my family!  About a week from Thanksgiving I make these decorations that are made out of my hand.  You can make them by tracing your hand and coloring all the fingers.(The fingers are the feathers.)  Add eyes and a wattle on the thumb and then draw feet at the bottom of the hand.  Oh, and by the way the wattle is the red thing on their neck.  Well it’s about a week a way so I’m going to go make a few!

My Weekend

I did some really fun things last weekend.  Saturday I got to spend the night at Meryl’s aunt Mandy’s house.  There were a few people there, Meryl, Meredith, and Samantha.  Meryl and Meredith are my neighbors and Samantha is their cousin.  We all got makeovers by a make up artist from Mary Kay.  After the makeover Mandy bought us some makeup.  For dinner we had pizza and then we had brownies.  Samantha didn’t stay because she wasn’t felling so good.  Later we watched The Breakfast Club and Steel Magnolias.  We went to bed at like 2:00a.m.  In the morning we watched Harry Potter then played rat slap and Monopoly.  Meryl and Meredith’s uncle Ben won in Monopoly.:-(  I came in third place.  Then Meryl’s mom picked us up, we went to Big Lots on our way home.  When we got home Meryl and I made cupcakes.  This weekend I think I might go snowboarding with Meryl and Meredith for the first time this year!

I Saw Madonna!!:-0

Last night my family and I went to see Madonna.  Before the show we went out to a restaurant called Zengo.  Zengo is a fancy Mexican, seafood fusion restaurant.  Madonna is a singer, and she’s my favorite!  The concert took place downtown Denver at the Pepsi Center.  When we got to the Pepsi Center we went to our seats.  We all couldn’t believe how close we were to the stage.  We waited and waited for like 45 minutes until she came on.  She started with a box that had screens on them, they rose up, but the front ones went up in little parts.  You could just see stairs when the screens rose up, but then the stairs turned around 360 degrees and there she was sitting in a chair.  She started to sing.  We went CRAZY!!  The first song she played was Candy Shop.  In the middle of the the show she played a really good song called Get Stupid.  The song was good because it was about global warming, the people in Africa, Iraq, and Barack Obama being the next president of the United States of America.  Throughout the show the lights were going every were!  There was this point in the show that there were lasers shooting everywhere on the ceiling.  There was also a screen that was like a tube that came down and she was dancing and singing in it.  She had a lot of really cool dancers and she was really good at it too!  The end of the show came around and she played two of my favorite songs, Like a Virgin and Hung Up.  Before she played Like a Virgin, she asked one of the front row people what song they wanted to hear, and what do you know, they chose my favorite song.  Madonna probably had about eight or nine clothes changes throughout her show.  When the show was over my mom bought me a Madonna shirt that says, Madonna Sticky and Sweet Tour.  We parked by Zengo so we had to walk back to the car, but it wasn’t that far.  That concert was definitely a very, very exciting, that had to be the coolest concert ever!!!!

If There Were No Colors!

Can you imagine the world without colors?  It would be a very, very boring life!  A world without the beautiful blue and white skies, purple and green mountains, multi-colored tie die shirts, and the color of your tan skin!  Life would be like living at the bottom of the sea, in a dark hole!  It would make video games too boring and movies too plain.  When you take a picture there would be no point because you wouldn’t be able to see anything.  You would still have your other senses smell, hearing, touch and taste.  I fell really bad for dogs, because they can only see black and white.  It’s like looking through a camera with the black and white setting on your whole life.  People who don’t get the experience to see all the colors of the world, don’t know what it’s like.  It’s a whole new world.  I’m really thankful that I can see all the colors!  If there were no colors, what would life be like?  What would you do in a life without any colors?????
