If you remember when I wrote the blog about my aunt coming I said that her bird was staying with us, that’s Pablo. Pablo is a parrotlet and he is six years old. They are the smallest breed of parrots, even smaller than a parakeet. Pablo only weighs about 24 grams!
Pablo can imitate lots of sounds. One time I was playing Guitar Hero World Tour on the drums, he started to chirp to the beat. He also imitates the sound of us putting the dishes away. A cool thing Pablo can do, is he can say “pretty pretty”, but he hasn’t said it for us yet.:(
Pablo came from my Grandma Mary. He learned most of the things he can do from her. Pablo used to sit on her shoulder all the time when she was working on the computer. When she was sad Pablo always put a smile on her face. After my grandma past away, my aunt Laura has taken care of him. Laura took him because she felt like a part of my grandma was in him.
When Laura found out that she was going to Spain, she didn’t know who to give Pablo to. She wanted to give Pablo to someone that would play with him, not just leave him in stuck in his cage. We have him now because she trusts us to take care of him like her or my grandma.

A few blogs ago I wrote about my aunt coming to town before she went to Spain. Well, when she was here we went bowling and tubing! It was so fun!!! She got here Wednesday and we went bowling on Thursday. My uncle went over to his friends house for a little while so we left to meet him at the bowling ally. My Mom, Dad, Laura and I played one game and right after that he showed up.(poof!) After he got there we played two more games and I only got to spares all three games!!! Thursday we went to the tubing hill by Winter Park. Only my Mom, Dad, Laura and I went because Adam had to work. The first time we went down the hill it was scary but it was SO much fun! We all went together the first time and the first small hill that we went down gave us a big boost! Then when you get to the bottom you go up this thing that hooks on to your tube and it pulls you up. When I got to the top I went by my self and it feels like you are a penguin sliding on slippery ICE*! It’s awesome. After a few runs my Mom, Laura, and I went down on our belly’s and hung on to each others tubes, and apparently my dad went right after us and when we got to the bottom he slammed into us and he fell face first. He was O.K., surprisingly it was actually really funny!:-) Then on suday she was off to Spain and she is actully there right now and I bet she is having a lot of fun.

Laura and My Mom
In about a week my aunt Laura is going to Spain for six months!! Before she leaves though she is coming to Denver to say good bye, and she is also coming to Denver because the flights from Denver to Spain are cheaper than from Indiana. Laura is going to be staying with us for about four days. I think we all might go do something fun as a family before she leaves!:) I’m very excited that she is coming to see us before she leaves because I don’t get to she her that much! I’m also excited because we get to watch her bird, Pablo. She is going to Spain for college, she will be taking four Spainsh classes, and she is going to be living with a family that speaks Spainsh.(Duh!) Laura is going to have so much fun and I hope she has a safe trip!
