I know, I know, I haven’t wrote in a long time, and that’s why I’m back. In the last 4 days we’ve got a lot of stuff done. Friday, my Mom and Terry started breaking up the concrete by the pool, and got it nice and crushed up. At 7 we went to the Rockies game, it was fun but they didn’t win. By the time we got home it was already pretty late, so I went straight to bed. On Saturday morning it was cloudy and wet, but my parents and Terry still laid the concrete by the pool. In the afternoon I went to my friend Morgan’s house. At 6 I went down the street to babysit. After our Sunday breakfast, we started working outside. My Mom had me paint the edges of the windows with this wood protection stuff. I can’t remember what else we did but I know we did something. On Monday it snowed so we couldn’t work outside. My Mom cooked most of the day, and I got stuck doing school work. I guess you could say it was a lazy day. Tuesday was totally different, it was warm and the snow was gone, so my family put the rock by the pool. It looks really nice. While they were outside working, I was inside working on school! When I got done with my work I was relived, I could go hang out with my friends. Later on Meryl, Meredith, and I walked to Starbucks, and then played basketball at the park. Although I had school the past 4 days weren’t that bad, I had fun.

Wow, it’s really sinking in that this year IS the year we are going to be leaving. We’ve packed up a lot of our stuff up and my Dad has been taking quite a few loads down to my Ah-ma’s (my grandma) house. It’s kind of scary but at the same time I’m really excited that we are going to do it this year. We are also trying to clear stuff off the walls and get the house ready for showing. Since I’ve been trying to warn my friends about it, the other day I told Meredith that it was really going to happen this year, and she got all teary eyed and said,”Really? I’m going to miss you so much!”. It was really sad seeing her cry and I know that they won’t only miss me, I’m going to miss them too! Since we have a pool in the back yard, we are going to try and open it as soon as possible so the people that come and look at the house will get the whole effect on the “awesome back yard thing”. It’s cool that one of the places we are going to after the house sells is Indonesia and right now I’m doing a project on Indonesia. It’s taking a long time to finish, it kinda sucks! Well, I just wanted to give you an update on what’s been going on around here, and that it going to happen soon…..hopefully!

It’s the days everyone looks forward to, the weekend! On Friday I went to my friend Annelise’s birthday party. We didn’t do much at first, but after she opened her presents, we all started having fun. Her Mom got her a few karaoke CDs and I got her a book called The Double-Daring Book For Girls, it’s a book of random fun girl things to do and I would kinda like to have one too. The karaoke was fun for all of us and I could tell that it was a good present. Later that night I had to baby sit for our neighbors down the street, so I had to leave the party early.
On Saturday I cleaned my room because it had been getting a little messy. While I was cleaning I found some stuff that I could pack away since we’re moving soon. When I was done with my room, I went back to Annelise’s house to play for awhile.
Sunday morning I found my Easter eggs and ate lots of candy. We went out for breakfast, but when we got back it was cold and rainy. We had to decide wether or not to go to the Rockies game. I wanted to go because it was opening weekend, but my Dad didn’t want to go because it was too cold and wet for him. It ended up just my Mom and I going, so we bundled up and were out the door in no time. When we got there, we met up with our neighbors and it was cool being in a big group. The Rockies didn’t win, but I was glad we got to go. When I got home I chilled with my homiez, Meryl and Meredith.

When we leave on our trip around the world, we are going to sell the house and move some where by the beach. It’s going to be very weird not living across the street from my best friends, and not being able to stay in the house I mostly remember growing up in. Living in this house has been the greatest thing ever! The friends that I’ve made are the best friends you could ever have. Over the time I lived here I’ve met Meryl, Meredith, Annelise, and Kylie. I’m going to miss them so much it’s not funny. With each one of those friends, we have done stuff from snowboarding, to just sitting down and talking. I do a lot of different things with each of them. They are like sisters to me
Meryl and I are really close and I just like to hang out with her. About three years ago I helped her learn how to snowboard. I can’t count how many things I’ve done with her through out the 8 years that I’ve lived here.
Meredith is Meryl’s sister and is 2 years older than me. I like hanging out with her because when ever I’m with her she makes me laugh. She’s really competitive and athletic.
Annelise lives diagonal from me and is very free spirited. I know Annelise from 3rd grade and have known her for 3 years. She comes up with games right out of the blue. Annelise is the perfect friend who is very imaginative.
Kylie I’ve known for the least amount of time but is a magical person. She is really giddy and goofy. Some people think she crazy but thats why I like her.
When I think about leaving my friends it makes me cry because they are so close. I hope that I will always be their friend and that they will always be mine.:) My friends are a little weird………but that’s the way I like them.
